Swing Bed is a service that allows a patient to continue receiving skilled nursing care when acute care is no longer required, without needing to be discharged from the hospital. 

Swing Bed can provide a range of skilled nursing care services that include, but aren’t limited to:

Physical therapy
Occupational therapy
IV medication therapy
Monitoring of vital signs
Wound care
Speech Therapy
